The Warranty Manager is responsible for all aspects of service-related revenue tracking, warranty contract terms, hosting agreements and 3rd party license renewals. The Warranty Manager works closely with operating groups as well as multiple Clever Devices’ functional groups across Clever Devices’ product lines. The Warranty Manager proactively escalates service renewal terms and serves as escalation point for both the customers and Clever Devices’ personnel.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages all aspects of service warranty administration including revenue and forecast tracking, accuracy of service revenue reporting, renewals, and warranty terms.
  • Manages all aspects of COTS software licensing and 3rd party vendor contract renewals
  • Responsible to manage all hosting agreements and work with stakeholders to ensure renewals of those agreements.
  • Alerts cross functional departments to service contract termination and renewal dates.
  • Coordinates and works with cross functional departments to ensure renewals of service contract activity are being facilitated.
  • Maintains accurate data of service revenue via ERP system invoices, backlog, and forecast.
  • Develops processes to improve the tracking and visibility of service revenue, forecasting, customer warranty terms and SLAs.
  • Ensures RFP requirements are reviewed by internal stakeholders.
  • Works with internal Clever Devices functional groups (Apps, Engineering, Deployment) to ensure valid information (hardware/software/services/labor) is available and part of the quote request.
  • Works with internal teams to identify additional equipment and services that may be needed based on Clever Devices’ products and solutions.
  • Understands Clever Devices’ pricing model and requirements, as well as service revenue snapshot reports.
  • Works with sales account team to review quotes before delivery to customer.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • 10+ years’ experience in a service or project management capacity in a technical or engineering environment.
  • Track record of having successfully managed service agreements and service or project budgets in a fast paced, multifaceted environment working across multiple time zones
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Document control systems, issue tracking systems as well as ability to learn new software programs
  • Strong cross functional teamwork skills

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel as necessary up to up to 20% of the time
