Building on the above, we are looking to expand our Waste Resource Management (WRM) Team.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Wardell Armstrong WRM Team is diverse and located across several of our UK offices. We are looking to recruit a consultant with at least eight years of relevant experience to help to manage the delivery of our expanding waste and resource related services.
Our clients include local authorities, private sector operators, regulators and waste management contractors, for whom we provide support in the development of waste strategies and the delivery of waste and recycling infrastructure, acting as technical advisor, providing bid support, applying for environmental permits and monitoring compliance.
The workload may include managing and delivering support at all stages in the lifecycle of all types of waste management facilities, including strategy development, feasibility studies, options appraisals, bid support, contractor procurement, technology due diligence, facility design, planning, environmental permitting and compliance support.
We are looking for someone who has a can-do attitude backed up by a succinct and positive writing style, excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to proactively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, a team player, committed to excellence and have strong organisational skills to successfully manage a diverse team and workload.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant discipline and have at least 8 years’ experience working within the sector either as a consultant or in a related role. They will have a good understanding of the waste resource management industry and its role in delivering a circular economy and addressing climate change.
