Description:
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Previous experience in the operation and working processes of Wastewater Effluent Treatment Plants
- Has experience in the waste industry with a working knowledge of waste ( haz and non haz ) and recycling best practice
- Experience in operational teams and overall operational environments
- Has excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
- Has the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once
- Can communicate with people across all levels of an organisation
- Has good planning skills
- Managing change and Customer Care experience/skills
- Understanding of Health and Safety practices
- Approachable and hard working with a ‘can do’ approach
- Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel knowledge is desirable
Responsibilities:
JOB OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Successfully support and develop a number of Key Industrial Accounts, whilst working alongside the Account Management Team.
MAIN DUTIES
- Operational support of waste contracts for a number of Key Industrial clients
- Maintain and develop client relationships with a view to maintaining and growing waste services
- Work with the Contract Manager and Account Management Team to develop and implement strategies for service enhancement and cost savings
- Ensuring client compliance with current and future environmental & Health and Safety regulations and legislation
- Auditing both suppliers and clients sites where required
- Ensure that contracts are run safely and efficiently to the required standard. To liaise with clients and monitor site operations if appropriate
- Attending Client meetings as required
- Create a positive safety culture on client sites in line with client and Mitie requirements
- Identifying account growth opportunities
