Description:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3 years of digital, content and social media experience at a branding/advertising/digital/social media agency
  • Good command of English and ability to copywrite for social media purposesAttention to detail - proofreading, ability to incorporate edits and quality control of content from others.
  • Interpersonal, organisation & time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Proficiency with Google Suite: Docs, Drive, Sheets, Slides
  • Experience in social measuring tools e.g. Emplifi, Hootsuite, Meltwater is a plus

Responsibilities:

BRIEF ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Social & Content Executive who will be responsible for day-to-day
management and delivery of content plans & campaigns with a strong social element. You will be a main day-to-day contact fronting work to both clients & internal stakeholders. The role within the social team requires a candidate who is actively engaged with developments in the social media arena, and with guidance from their manager, be able to confidently advise planners or clients on best practice use of emerging social platforms as well as specific new features within existing platforms, when they should be used, and be realistic about their limitations.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicate directly with clients to build relationships, including functioning as day to-day client contact offering expertise as well as presenting directly to clients.
  • Proactively generate new ideas and opportunities to ensure client success; participate actively in account team strategy sessions and brainstorms.
  • Build and manage client social media campaigns, primarily with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and other social media platform to drive key objectives (including building awareness, engagement, leads, and sales).
  • Work hand in hand with the in-house creative team to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Strategise, develop and execute social promotions by leveraging the most relevant and latest best practices, ad formats, trends and pop culture.
  • Collaborate with the Wavemaker media teams to ensure performance metrics are aligned, ensuring our client goals and objectives are obtained.
  • Adapt client’s brand guidelines and visual identities into the right voice, tone and written style for individual and corporate social accounts.
  • Development of social media reports to inform clients of KPIs and room for improvement.
  • Copywriting of social media captions.
  • Presentation of proposals to clients and internal teams.
  • Community management – responding to customers queries and escalate issues with the appropriate tone of voice through clients’ social media pages at designated checkpoints.
