WE ARE SEEKING STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS IN STAVANGER AND BERGEN.

We are looking for a structural engineer to contribute to several offshore modification projects in Stavanger and Bergen. The ideal candidate should have experience in calculations and analyses, and knowledge of laws, regulations, and standards applicable to the offshore industry. Our ongoing projects mainly consist of small to medium-sized modification projects focusing on topside and ship structures.
We are a small department, which means you’ll have significant impact on projects and the opportunity to work with skilled engineers and collaborate with other disciplines. Additionally, in smaller projects, you’ll play a central role and be involved in the project phase from start to finish. There is also the possibility of conducting offshore surveys.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with some of the mentioned software programs.
• Familiarity with design according to NORSOK and DNV standards.
• Ability to work effectively independently and in teams.
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English.

• Perform structural calculations and analyses and review others’ work.
• Assist in designing, developing, and finding effective solutions.
• Participate in planning, estimating, and executing projects.
• Prepare documentation for work packages and technical specifications for procurement.
• Follow up on fabrication and installation.
