JOB DESCRIPTION
We have multiple openings in several of our Operations teams and the participating job functions include but are not limited to;
- Business Insights, Advanced Analytics, Data Governance, Data Lifecycle Management/Data Stewardship, Data Mining, Data Innovation, Visualization, Automation of manual processes, Process reengineering
How You Will Contribute
The Wealth Operations Internship will perform a variety of activities which may include:
- Data Science/ Advanced Analytics: Participating in projects supporting a broad range of data driven solutions by applying a variety of techniques to build out models.
- Business Insight Analysis: Supporting the team by providing analytics and insights to recommend actions that will enable optimal business decisions and/or resolves complex business problems. Identify opportunities to drive business growth & value.
- Visualization: Provide data visualization support by employing various techniques to support the business in interpreting info and communicating implications and /or recommendations to the business.
- Business Intelligence: Designing/developing dashboards and scorecards to support business needs; ensure alignment of metrics across the organization.
- Other:
- Demonstrate strong initiative, and use strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills to add value to each initiative, project, or team you are assigned to.
- Participate as part of a team with targeted deliverables, working on initiatives designed to improve decisions, processes, systems, and applications which support our key businesses.

ASSIGNED LINE OF BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS
- Majoring in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Quantitative Analysis, Statistics, Data Analytics or a related field.
- Strong statistical/analytics skills & interest will be necessary
- Excellent verbal & written communication, with ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment.
- Working knowledge with programming and building VBA Excel Macros
- Knowledge of Alteryx and SQL programming is a plus.
- Experience with VBA, R, Python, Spark, Scala, or other programming languages is a plus
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree & graduating from a recognized post-secondary program by 2024
This position is a 4-month work term and will commence September 2024.
