Description:
7shifts is an all-in-one team management software platform designed for the restaurant industry. We’re used by 1 in 10 restaurant workers and over 50,000 restaurants across North America. Our mission is to simplify Team Management and improve performance for restaurants, with a long-term vision of elevating what restaurant teams can achieve together.
As the Web Developer at 7shifts, you will be responsible for bringing a fresh perspective to enhancing 7shifts’ online presence. Reporting to our Director, Revenue Marketing, you’ll help build our website and web experiences. This will involve developing innovative page layouts and templates, optimizing for both conversion and SEO and ensuring that our core values and mission are effectively communicated and reflected throughout our online presence.

Responsibilities:
Build upon, scale, and maintain the 7shifts.com website, which includes managing web development projects/tasks
Manage and work with APIs (REST + GraphQL) to ensure a strong connection between backend and frontend experiences
Maintain and improve our self-serve content publishing workflows for cross-functional partners via our CMS (Headless WordPress) & support occasional code development on our design web builder (Framer)
Build out a new database schema in our headless CMS, when appropriate
Write testable and efficient code using web development best practices
Brainstorm, support, and execute web-based marketing initiatives such as A/B tests, technical/on-page SEO, and website enhancements and optimizations
Support our website tech stack and integrations, including web analytics and GTM support
