Job Title: Web Developer

Creditsafe has an exciting new opportunity for a Junior Web developer to join the Digital Marketing team, for this role, you will need experience & knowledge of PHP.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educated to degree level or proven relevant IT development experience Proven experience of coding
  • Ability to manage multiple coding languages
  • Ability to manage multiple codebases
  • Ability to display experience of managing code releases
  • Demonstrable ability to align strategy with commercial requirements
  • The ability to effectively develop and manage strong working relationships both internal and external to the business

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and development of the Business Index website
  • Support for digital-related tasks, such as account creations, task creation, helping entities create A/B tests
  • Working closely with Head of Digital Marketing & Digital Team to ensure key business objectives are met
  • Working alongside other developers to discuss and implement cross-platform features
  • Delivery of technical implementations in line with agreed requirements
  • Effective deployment of new functionalities ensuring quality assurance whilst mitigating any risks in terms of downtime
  • Management of relationships with an External Agency and other software houses
  • Liaising with IT on the technical implementation of agreed solutions
  • Web security management (and when required) crisis management from a technical perspective
  • Implementation of training programmes so that web-based best practices are adhered to
  • Providing insights into web performance to influence decision-making processes
  • Regular meetings with all entities to scope and plan new features
  • Ability to work with other departments to fulfil task requirements.
  • Can do and self-starter attitude, having the ability to pick up new tasks and set objectives based on the project’s direction.
