WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING:

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master + 3 years’ related work experience).
• Experience assisting with the development and execution of test procedures for software components.
• Experience with generating and reviewing software/technical documentation.
• Proven background working in an Agile software development environment.
• Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation.
• Ensuring quality control of all developed and modified software.
• Experience with software development using React, Java, CGI, Visual Basic, HTML, and XML.

As a Web Developer - Level 1 at BlueHalo you will be responsible for:

• Utilizing REACT
• Coding less complex websites using HTML, Visual Basic, or other web-based programming languages
• Supporting website planning and deployment
• Maintaining a functioning user-accessible website
• Maintaining website technical documentation to assist with website maintenance and upgrades
• Applying concepts, develops, tests, maintain and supports high-performance, innovative web-based applications
• Using a variety of internet technologies, techniques and tools such as graphics software applications and object-oriented languages to create web page elements such as user interface features, site animation, special effects, databases, and e-business applications
• Integrating new web products with existing web applications in order to improve the functionality or design of the organization’s website
