We are seeking a highly skilled Website Manager to join our dynamic team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving website strategy, web management, operations, and design, has a keen understanding of marketing metrics, and exceptional skills in SEO, data analysis, and team building.
The ideal candidate lives in Austin, Texas but we are also open to Texas - remote candidates who would be able to drive in to the office on the rare occasion.
Overview & Key Responsibilities
As our Website Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our digital presence and driving our business’s growth. You will be responsible for driving strategy, managing www.portnox.com, optimizing it for search engines, and ensuring it is a powerful tool for driving awareness, generating leads, and contributing to our sales pipeline. Your expertise will help us maximize our website’s potential as a key asset in our marketing and sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Website Strategy and Management: Build Portnox’s Web strategy. Oversee the day-to-day management and operations of the Portnox website, ensuring it is always up-to-date, secure, and functioning optimally.
- SEO Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy to increase organic search visibility, traffic, and lead generation. Conduct keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, and technical and content strategy.
- Analytics and Reporting: Use Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar tools to monitor, analyze, and report on website performance and SEO effectiveness. Make data-driven decisions to improve website performance and SEO rankings.
- Content Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to create SEO-friendly content that aligns with our brand and business objectives. Optimize existing content to improve relevance and performance.
- Technical SEO: Identify and resolve technical SEO issues, including site speed optimization, mobile optimization, and schema markup.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align website and SEO strategies with overall business goals.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ year proven experience in website management, web development and SEO, preferably in the tech or cybersecurity industry.
- Strong understanding of current SEO best practices, trends, and search engine algorithms.
- Experience with website analytics and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
