Web/Marketing Designer
Hostaway is looking for an experienced Web and Marketing Designer to optimize our website and create visually appealing materials. This position will report to the VP of Marketing.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of professional Web or UI/UX experience
- A portfolio with case studies demonstrating your strengths in UI, UX, graphic design, videography, and creative problem solving
- Ability to design and share ideas with clarity and passion, and to give and receive feedback with open-mindedness
- Ability to think and operate in terms of design systems – be it working from existing design systems, evolving design systems or defining new design systems
- Experience with Adobe creative suite, Unbounce, CMS platforms, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, interactive demo software, etc.
- Experience implementing and maintaining brand guidelines and systems to ensure teams can create assets quickly while still ensuring brand consistency
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design dynamic and high-converting website and landing pages
- Design full website experiences from concept through launch
- Design and create various forms of digital and print design collateral
- Design and create visuals, videos and other materials for marketing, lead gen, and sales purposes
- Upgrade design requirements and brand standards by leveraging user research, data, team feedback, and customer feedback in order to create delightful and consistent user experiences
- Identify and define thoughtful user journeys supported by low to high-fidelity wireframes, user flow diagrams, detailed interaction recommendations, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design concepts to developers
- Maintain a current knowledge of design trends, industry trends, market conditions, tools, and techniques.
- Expand upon and/or implement brand guidelines into site-wide styles
- Establish web design systems and style sheets, reusable components, and modules
- Collaborate with developers and copywriters to enhance page layouts and optimize content flow
- Annotate designs, provide examples and direction on interactions and animations
