Web/Mobile Developer - REMOTE within Ottawa - Ottawa

Please note: Although remote, the resource must be based in the Ottawa/Gatineau, ON area.
We are seeking an experienced developer to join our government client on an initial 12 month contract, focusing on web development and database management. If you are a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, eager to contribute both individually and as part of a team, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

QUALIFICATIONS

The resource(s) must have experience in the following areas:

• Designing/building websites with ASP.NET / C# and JavaScript;
• Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server;
• Agile methodology and tools (like Atlassian Confluence, Jira);
• Oracle 9i/10g/11g/12c databases, including PL/SQL programming;
• Self-driven with the ability to seek out requirements with minimal direction;
• Individual contributor and team player with excellent verbal/written communication skills.

Web Technologies

• Developing JavaScript / JavaScript Framework like Angular, Vue, React…/ JSON/HTML5 / CSS3 websites;
• Knowledge responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility; and
• Knowledge of mobile web development.
