Job Title: Weblogic System Analyst
The Weblogic Systems Analyst will have a range of responsibilities from analyzing the technical requirements, understanding of the infrastructure, perform product deployments to ensuring that we stay on the leading edge of technology. Responsible to build the infrastructure, application installation, domain configurations, environment configurations Responsible for maintaining all test environments and troubleshooting post setup.

Role & responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the infra and delivery of the Corporate platform applications.
  • Setup of the Oracle based OB products – OBDX, OBP, OBLM, OBVAM, OBTF, OBTFPM, OBMA etc.
  • Expertise and hands on experience in weblogic and OHS domain configuration
  • Strong technical skills, can cut across multiple groups in a large and complex structured IT setup, specifically act as a bridge between technology teams for high quality delivery of solutions that meet business goals and requirements.
  • Accountable for the maintenance of the test environments , support and issue resolution while setting up the environments
  • Optimized technology solution delivery based on business requirements, existing applications, latest technology trends, scalability and stability. Work with Business, Technology Operations, Technology architects, ISG and vendors to deliver these solutions
  • Minimize cost on technology deliverables by utilizing existing applications and rationalize applications.
  • Ensure to automate the environment setup to meet the timelines as per the business requirement.
  • Ensure technology projects have got approvals from ISG, Technology architecture, hardware sizing and also meet all audit controls
  • Ensure stability of production systems through a structured process of application management – upgrades, patches for security and vulnerability, root causes analyses for issues
  • Manage and deliver technology Initiatives and maintain stability by following all technology standards and procedures and also deliver business value with minimum cost and time lines
  • Liaise with other teams within and outside the Digital unit to negotiate timelines, deliverables and dependencies.
  • Drive forward and role-model best practice engineering processes and Agile behavior
  • Ensure stability of production systems through a structured process of application management – upgrades, patches for security and vulnerability, root causes analyses for issues
  • Manage and deliver technology Initiatives and maintain stability by following all technology standards and procedures and also deliver business value with minimum cost and time lines
  • Liaise with other teams within and outside the Digital unit to negotiate timelines, deliverables and dependencies

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Strong technical, domain knowledge to comprehend user requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of the Oracle based OB products installation, setup and configuration.
  • Knowledge of Banking domain is a must
  • Strong knowledge in AIX platform, Weblogic
  • Good knowledge in Oracle banking suite products environment setup
  • Good knowledge in OHS, Apache/Tomcat or any other web server
  • Strong inter personal communication skills
  • Good knowledge in WLST and Python scripting.
  • Good verbal and written communication including ability to prepare system documentation.
  • Ability to interpret solution documentation and identify areas of concern and recommend approach.
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL and one common database technology
  • Real passion for development and a demonstrated appetite for continual learning
  • At least 7 years of technical analysis experience
  • Experience in the hardware setup, co-ordination with network teams, DBA team, Infra teams
  • Ability to work with bank infra teams and co-ordinate for ACL implementations, automic jobs setup and other monitoring agents installation and configurations.
  • Ability to modify and execute the database scripts as per the environment and testing requirements.
  • Working knowledge of DevOps, Pipeline, Docker, Kubernetes

  • Member of the implementation team working on assigned tasks, project activities and IT initiatives.
  • Co-ordinates with members and other technical teams for deliverables.
  • Work with team members participating in shadowing and training activities.
  • Adhere to information controls and security frameworks/procedures, including change and incident management process.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team, including meetings, knowledge transfer and activity reporting.

Problem Solving

  • Ability to break down complex issues and identify most important and relevant information and options.
  • Ability to present and discuss problems with others toward permanent solution.
  • Investigate and understand the cause of defects raised.
  • Interpret, understand and resolve environmental setup and maintenance issues.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis. Recommend solutions to system or process obstacles.
