As an Intermediate Website Content Writer, you’ll serve as a cornerstone of our Website Content Strategy team, melding creative flair and strategic thinking to produce compelling, results-oriented content.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Legally able to work in Canada and located in Calgary, AB
• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
• 2+ years of professional writing experience
• Prior experience in marketing is an asset
• Demonstrated writing skills, supported by a portfolio of published work.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• A basic grasp of SEO concepts.

• Write for a diverse portfolio of clients, focusing on delivering an exceptional client experience that is tailored to the specific needs of each individual, ensuring satisfaction and long-lasting relationships.
• Create informative, user- and SEO-driven website content tailored to client objectives.
• Participate in client meetings to understand brand voice and custom content requirements.
• Develop and maintain style guides that align with each client’s branding.
• Write content that mirrors each client’s unique tone and voice.
• Conduct research on a wide range of topics to support content creation.
• Receive and implement feedback from the Team Lead of Website Content Strategy and Senior Content Writers.
• Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality, error-free content that meets project requirements.
• Train new team members on best practices and protocols, providing valuable insights to improve their performance.
• Support process innovation and documentation, working closely with the Senior team members to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participate in small-scale product development initiatives, contributing ideas and collaborating on implementation.
• Continuously stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure we are ahead of the curve.
