JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Full Time
  • Salary - Up to £35k
  • 40 hours
    Eligible for up to 20% of your annual salary as a bonus, dependent on performance and the successful completion of your probation period

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and vendors
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
  • Proven experience in Sales or Event Planning and Management
  • Sales skills to drive revenue growth and build relationships with clients
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver sales into the venue to achieve the monthly and annual sales target.
  • Receive incoming enquiries in accordance with the Sales Department standards and procedures and to convert them into confirmed business.
  • To prepare proposals for new enquiries, ensuring venue standards are adhered to and contain best fit/feature expectations for client and maximising yield and revenue.
  • Conduct show rounds and client visits to a high standard.
  • Organise wedding open evening/day to a high standard and maximise conversion.
  • To maintain and develop relationships with existing and new clients with focus on wedding and private bookers including wedding planners, 3rd party agents and bloggers.
  • Connect with industry influencers and maintain venue wedding listings to maximise ROI.
  • Ensure venue product knowledge and seasonal menus are communicated to clients and actively upsell to increase average spends and revenue opportunities.
  • Create and complete function sheets – detailing all event requirements from start to finish and attend weddings, working in conjunction with the operations team.
  • Ensure in house accounting policies are adhered to and checked. Ensuring billing invoices are completed within agreed timeframes and debt is chased.
  • All sales procedures and administration correspondence duties are up to date and completed in a timely fashion as per agreed KPI’s. (Proposals, Contracts, Follow-ups and Deposit schedule/payments).
  • Maintain good working relationship with the venue and other Searcys sites.
  • To identify and support new leads for future business opportunities.
