Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
Mulpha Hospitality are currently seeking a talented and experienced Wedding Supervisor to join our team at Palmers Lane at Bimbadgen Estate. As a Wedding Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of weddings, overseeing the coordination of all wedding-related activities, and providing exceptional service to our clients and their guests. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for creating unforgettable wedding experiences.
Salary guide: $69k plus super PA
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a Wedding Supervisor or in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations with composure and professionalism.
- Knowledge of wedding planning processes, including vendor management, event logistics, and floorplan design.
- Familiarity with different wedding styles, traditions, and cultural considerations.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on wedding schedules.
- A positive attitude, creativity, and a genuine passion for creating memorable wedding experiences.
- Current RSA and own Transport.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of weddings, from setup to breakdown, to ensure seamless execution and guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to understand wedding requirements and expectations.
- Oversee the setup of wedding venues, ensuring that all elements are arranged according to the client’s specifications and timeline.
- Lead and guide the wedding team, including coordinators, servers, and other staff members, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Conduct pre-event meetings and rehearsals with clients and vendors to ensure everyone is aligned on the event plan.
- Assist with vendor coordination, including managing contracts, schedules, and payments.
- Address any issues or concerns that arise during weddings promptly and professionally, finding effective solutions to ensure a smooth and memorable experience.
- Ensure the timely and efficient service of food and beverages, coordinating with the catering team and ensuring that all dietary preferences and restrictions are accommodated.
- Coordinate with the venue staff to ensure all logistical requirements are met, including room setup, audio-visual equipment, and special requests.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests, anticipating their needs and resolving any issues or inquiries that may arise.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanour during high-pressure situations and effectively communicate and delegate tasks to ensure a successful event.
- Stay updated with the latest wedding trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance the overall wedding experience.
