Wage Benefits:
- Wage employees receive 11.2% in addition to regular wage earnings in lieu of benefits and vacation leave.
- 5.2 percent of regular wage earnings instead of paid holidays.
- 6 percent of regular wage earnings instead of annual vacation pay.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- A university graduation in Environmental Science, Agriculture, or a related degree.
- Plus 2 years of related experience is required.
- Herbicide Applicator Certification.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
Equivalency: Directly related education or experience considered based on:
- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
- 1 year of experience for 1 year education
Assets:
- Experience in weed inventory, control, and biocontrol programs.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, especially EDD Maps.
- Alberta Pesticide Applicator Licence.
- Proficient in weed identification through hands-on experience
- Accomplished in working independently in remote locations.
- Demonstrated expertise in weed management practices.
- Possesses some supervisory experience.
