Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Ottawa, as the Welder/Maintenance Technician :
- Will perform regular scheduled preventative maintenance (PM Program) for all stationary equipment, mobile plant equipment and building components at both Plant 1 and Plant 2, as required. Will maintain all of the necessary records to support PM Program at Plant 1 and Plant 2.
- Will perform service and repair to all plant equipment as required. This may include stationary equipment, mobile plant equipment and building components at Plant 1 and 2, as required.
- To be involved in the modification and fabrication of equipment to fit new production requirements and also assist in solving production issues.
- Assist 3rd party contractors with troubleshooting, repairs or overhauls with existing or new equipment installations as required.
- Complete all documentation related to the activities of the Department, including but not limited to preventative maintenance reports, service reports, inventory reports or request forms and daily activity reports.

- Must be aware of all safety standards and requirements for maintenance work.
- Have some experience in a manufacturing or related industry. Previous experience with equipment used in the recycling industry and with related mobile equipment would be a definite asset.
- Related technical school training.
- Training as a welder/fabricator would also be an asset.
- Experience in carpentry work.
- Training is during days, shifts will be evening and nights
