This includes the provision of wellbeing services (Peer Support, Chaplaincy and Psychological/Counselling support), and case management/coaching support for a range of issues impacting the psychological health and wellbeing of members.ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a strong team player, to contribute to the delivery of innovative and high-quality EAP and Chaplaincy services. This role will also lead the Corporate Peer Program, overseeing the ongoing recruitment, selection, training and deployment of Corporate Peers to ensure an evidence informed, high quality support service. Further project opportunities also exist to provide a high level of support across all CFA cohorts with a particular focus on fire and flood recovery. There are also opportunities to provide psychoeducation, assessment, referral and short-term support to CFA corporate staff.ABOUT YOU
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Social Sciences or a related field and/or significant experience;
  • Have an understanding of the psychological risks and protective factors associated with emergency services activities.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and advising on complex mental health issues arising in the workplace.
  • Proven ability to plan, develop and implement projects and programs within key timeframes to support service delivery outcomes;
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships at all levels within and external to the organization;
  • Demonstrated ability in problem solving, lateral thinking and the resolution of complex issues;
