To be involved in the planning, delivery and evaluation of recreational, and therapeutic activity within the wards, Central areas, Spinney Meadow and the community. To facilitate structured activities to each of the five inpatient wards To support patients to engage with a needs led structured activity programme. To be involved in the supporting of animal care and maintenance duties The Nottinghamshire Low Secure & Community Forensic Directorate is a country wide, specialist forensic service and is part of Nottingham Healthcare Trust Forensic Services Division. The Directorate provides a service to adult men and women who pose a risk of harm to others in the context of their behaviours /mental health.
Our service is underpinned by the concept of Recovery which is not simply related to a desire to be cured from symptoms but is seen as a process of moving forward in which a person may continue to experience symptoms but is able to focus on the same needs and activities as those without a diagnosis such as housing, work, recreation, education and social inclusion within a context of hope and optimism. Please note this post does not meetskilllevel required for a Skilled worker visa. Applicants requiring a Skilled Worker visa will usually need to be in a role which is at Band 3 or above,however please note not all Band 3 roles are capable of sponsorship.
