Responsibilities:

  • Key aspects of the role include; leading and managing a high performing team, implementing changes to improve the businesses efficiency’s, growing market share in Linen and Apparel while retaining margins, ensuring the factory operations and service deliveries remain efficient.
  • The position requires a strong working relationship with the Wellington branch staff and head office based in Hawkes Bay.
  • Accountable for overall management of the factory operations including production efficiency, consistent quality, managing plant upkeep, optimum resourcing, developing, and maintaining best practice Standard Operating Procedures and compliance including health and safety compliance.
  • This position will ensure the efficient day to day management of all aspects of the Wellington Branch to ensure product is processed safely, within specification and budget, and delivered on time.
  • This position is primarily accountable for overseeing all aspects of the Wellington Branch and ensuring that the Wellington business aligns with head office strategies.
