Account Manager Qualifications
- University degree or college diploma in business or a related field, with a sales specialization.
- Demonstrated success in establishing new customer relationships and achieving sales targets.
- Familiarity with mining, mineral processing, and grinding equipment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the mining industry, showcasing a track record of success
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate independence, self-motivation, and a “must-win” attitude.
- Efficiently manage time and activities for optimal results.
- Cultivate and expand customer relationships to drive sales and profitability.
- Provide on-site support for product installations and inspections at mine sites.
- Educate customers on product quality and capabilities.
- Address customer concerns and collaborate with technical teams for continuous improvement.
- Develop quotes, proposals, and responses to inquiries while pursuing new accounts aligned with growth strategy.
- Travel throughout Western Canada (50-60%, occasionally to Eastern Canada) is expected, including some weekends.
- Embrace hands-on job site visits and shop floor interactions for learning.
- Engage in all aspects of the sales cycle to ensure success, including negotiation for new orders.
