Job Compensation: $55k plus bonus potential.

Responsibilities:

JOB OVERVIEW (WHAT YOU’LL DO):

Cotopaxi is seeking a new Wholesale Account Manager to join our team and partner with select retailers that share our passion for unique and innovative products that empower people to see the world and make it better. Using their enthusiasm, communication skills and attention to detail, the Wholesale Account Manager will support the wholesale sales team, external sales agencies, and Cotopaxi customers.
Ideal for a candidate with around two years of experience managing wholesale accounts in a similar environment, and proven success owning projects from order to delivery and billing. This person will need to be highly organized, extremely comfortable using excel, skilled at building relationships and very familiar with the outdoor industry’s brands.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (HOW YOU’LL DO IT):

Manage wholesale partners and wholesaler orders:

  • Manage wholesale orders through the entire life cycle within the seasonal orderbook.
  • Build strong relationships and lines of communication with retail partners.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal Cotopaxi teams: Distribution Center, Planning, Sales, Accounting, and Marketing.
  • Formalize sales reporting of all customer data.
  • Support field reps on order placement, revisions, and product questions.
  • Handle overflow sales opportunities and support existing clients and repeat sales opportunities.
  • Assist the sales team with trade shows and other events.
  • Suggest and implement improvements.
