Description:

In 2012, a team of software developers found themselves jumping through hoops, past cracks, and over spikes just to set up a connection for their office in Cebu, Philippines. What’s more: almost every other business they knew had the same experience.
By 2015, the cause for better connectivity found itself an advocate: RISE was established to drive solutions for faster internet service. We are on a mission to help create a landscape for accelerated growth in the local internet service industry.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 1 year of experience working in telecommunications or any engineering related industry in a sale and business development role, preferably focusing on selling services in wholesale channels
  • Preferably with technical knowledge of telecommunications industry practices and processes, and network products and solutions but not required
  • Proven track record and strong positive reputation in the sales industry
  • Strong social network in the telecom and or sales industry
  • Strong interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional partners
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and easily adaptable to change and work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute, follow through and complete operational requirements of domestic wholesale accounts as the main point of contact from the company
  • Manage, up-sell, and renew agreements of assigned accounts
  • Drive advanced understanding in selling through CATV / ISP partners to achieve or surpass sales targets
  • Intensify the company’s presence throughout the CATV / ISP industry through new engagements.
  • Participate in customer planning, serving as the subject matter expert capable of leading the customers to the best solution
  • Develop relationships by maintaining constant contact with existing partners and assisting in identifying appropriate partnerships that fit within the industry model
  • Build firm relationships with key persons and decision-makers in organizations to identify and create business opportunities
  • Work with support and operation teams to resolve CATV/ISP-related issues.
  • Carry out market research and provide relevant management information
  • Work with the Domestic Wholesale Manager to create propositions for sales strategies in accordance with the division’s goals
  • Support the sales strategies to generate maximum sales potential
  • Provide administrative support such as updating systems, billing and invoicing, sales and management reporting, and forecasting.
  • Ensure activities are compliant with internal policies, including but not limited to data privacy and conflict of interest.
  • Ability to investigate customer concerns and solve them in a timely manner, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary internal and external customer service
  • Other ad hoc tasks required by the business
