Career Opportunity
Midway Nissan, a proud member of Drive Autogroup is currently seeking a responsible Wholesale Administrator to join their team. This position involves overseeing various administrative tasks related to wholesale sales, inventory management, customer service, and documentation. The Wholesale Administrator ensures smooth coordination between internal teams, external customers, and suppliers, contributing to the efficient functioning of wholesale operations

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and understand automotive wholesale pricing, sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities and improve sales strategies.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of wholesale transactions, including invoices, purchase orders, shipping records, and other relevant paperwork.
  • Receive, review, and process wholesale orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate inbound vehicle appraisals across multiple markets
  • Inspect vehicle conditions, damage reports, and accident history to inform buying and selling decisions
  • Monitor inventory levels, reconcile stock discrepancies, and collaborate with the team to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to wholesale clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong business relationships.
  • Prepare and provide accurate pricing information and quotations to wholesale customers in a timely manner.
  • Generate regular reports on wholesale sales, inventory levels, and customer feedback for management review and decision-making purposes.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as sales and finance to ensure effective communication, timely order fulfillment, and streamlined processes.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and legal requirements related to wholesale operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in business administration or related field is a plus.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing the automotive wholesale sector is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of automotive products, parts, and industry-specific terminology is preferred.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and identify trends.
  • Proven experience in wholesale operations or a similar administrative role within the automotive industry.

SKILLS:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite and inventory management software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
