We are seeking a highly motivated Wind Power Development Lead to join their dynamic team in Helsinki. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the development of Onshore Wind Greenfield projects from inception to execution. With a deep understanding of the renewable energy landscape in Finland, you will spearhead project feasibility assessments, permitting processes, stakeholder management, and overall project coordination.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Fluent in Finnish and English, with exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects, ideally in the Finnish energy landscape.
- Strong understanding of land acquisition, permitting, regulatory frameworks, and environmental considerations related to renewable energy projects in Finland.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, including local communities, authorities, and investors.
- Strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Self-driven, organized, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility for occasional travel within Finland as required.

Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project development activities for Onshore Wind Greenfield projects, ensuring projects are delivered within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Conduct thorough feasibility studies, site assessments, and resource analyses to identify suitable project sites and assess their potential.
- Oversee permitting and regulatory compliance processes, collaborating with relevant authorities to secure required permits and licenses.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local communities, stakeholders, and governmental bodies to ensure project support and alignment.
- Manage project risks and opportunities, proactively identifying challenges and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, finance, legal, and environmental specialists to ensure seamless project progression.
- Prepare and present project updates, reports, and proposals to internal and external stakeholders, including investors and partners.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and policy changes to ensure our projects remain aligned with evolving market dynamics.
