We are looking for new colleagues to join the Corporate Analysis team at Odfjells headquarters in Bergen. This is a fantastic opportunity where you can contribute to a team in the intersection between our core business, financial processes, and IT. Our direct stakeholders span from the executive management team to commercial colleagues in chartering departments around the world, and you will daily be exposed to the various challenges facing a global shipping company.
We are looking to add one or two new profiles to our team based on applicants backgrounds and experiences. Here are some keywords about the position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors degree with strong academic results in finance, economics, accounting, auditing, or a similar field
• 1-5 years of prior experience in fields such as management consulting, auditing, financial/equity analysis, controlling, or a similar field (there may be an opening for you if you are newly graduated with very strong academic results)
• Strong analytical and theoretical skills
• Good communication skills in English, both oral and written

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Masters degree with strong academic results in finance, economics, accounting, auditing, or a similar field
• Experience with Power BI, data models and other business intelligence solutions
• Experience from the shipping industry

• Analyzing and modeling of large amounts of internal financial and commercial data
• Analyzing market developments
• Conducting analyses of customers and competitors
• Participating in, and contributing to, strategic reviews
• Reporting on commercial performance
• Participate in improvement projects and process mapping/design
• Contribute to Fleet development and strategy
• Reporting on result development for various ship segments
• Financial analyses of potential additions to our fleet
