Job Description Summary
To contribute to the profitability and growth of Service Stream by performing workforce planning duties in support of the Energy Queensland Meter Reading operations whilst adhering to relevant statutory legislation and Service Stream’s Policies and Procedures.
About the Role
The work Scheduler will contribute to the profitability and growth of Service Stream by performing workforce planning duties in support of the Energy Queensland Meter Reading operations whilst adhering to relevant statutory legislation and Service Stream’s Policies and Procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of workforce planning. Including but not limited to availability, scheduling, and allocation of work.
- Monitor daily staffing levels and liaise with the field manager to ensure work is adequately completed within timelines.
- Strategically allocate work to the field to minimise lost time and maximise time spent in the field by field.
- Utilise reporting tools and systems to maximise field efficiency.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure travel, accommodation and transport bookings are aligned with work allocation.
- Continuously monitor management systems and report on schedule status, escalating any at risk work to the field manager.
- Continuously monitor lone worker tools to ensure field staff are safe and accounted for.
- Perform schedule maintenance and reallocation to ensure monthly targets are met.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external stakeholders, including field staff.
- Manage and respond to requests via email and/or telephone.
- Contribute to the overall contract by reporting any problems or difficulties to Management.
- Working efficiently with Service Stream and client systems and databases.
- Complete ad hoc data entry and paperwork.
- Ensure all work performed is in accordance with contractual quality and safety requirements to company standards and to the satisfaction of the client.
- Contribute & provide input to regular team meetings.
- Assist other members of the administration team where required.
- Undertake and complete any other duties as requested by the Schedule Manager.
- Work closely with the field supervisor to assist in providing areas for improvement of issues with the field staff.
- Be willing to be flexible with shift times as per schedule requirements.
About You
- Minimum 12 months experience in contract administration support preferably in a scheduling/rostering/dispatch service industry environment
- Competencies in MS Office suite: Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent organisational and administration skills
- High level attention to detail
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work discretely with sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- The ability to work autonomously
- Positive, proactive, professional approach and willingness to ‘own the job’ until completion
