Description:
Electrification and renewable generation can provide over 50% of the non-forestry emissions reductions to achieve New Zealand’s net carbon zero target by 2050 while significantly reducing household energy bills.
To enable this future, our Grid Delivery division leads project and maintenance work across the transmission network delivered in conjunction with our service provider organisations. Transpower delivers approximately $300M capex and $100M in opex projects per annum.
YOUR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE, CV, AND COVER LETTER WILL DEMONSTRATE:
- Capability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively manage competing demands
- Well-developed communication (written and oral) and relationship management skills
- Capability to coordinate problem resolution with multiple groups and competing interests
- Excellent problem solving, decision making, and organisational skills
- Data management and interrogation ability
While not essential, one or more of the following is an advantage:
- Experience/exposure with planning and scheduling work programmes, maintenance planning, asset planning, or project support
- An understanding of industry level assets and their significance for service delivery and meeting target service levels
- Experience using Asset and Work Management software for the planning and scheduling of work
- Experience using criticality and optimisation frameworks to assess risk and prioritise activities
- Financial and performance reporting
