Description:

  • ASIC is seeking a full-time Workforce Analytics & Reporting Lead to join their People & Development Team
  • Temporary (3 year) position based in Brisbane or Sydney (will consider other locations)
  • Salary up to $132,272 (plus 15.4% superannuation) depending on experience

    ASIC’s People & Development team is responsible for delivering exceptional initiatives that are aligned with business strategy across the full employee lifecycle.     The role
    *

Provide strong direction, priorities and day to day management of the team.

  • In conjunction with the Head of Workforce Strategy & Data - design and implement ASIC’s people analytics framework.
  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver insights and reports that inform decision making.
  • Foster and grow the analytics capability within the team and implement the use of analytics tools (e.g., PowerBi) to ensure service delivery.
  • Work with your Data & Insights team to deliver the operational and compliance-based reporting charter and manage data integrity in ASIC’s people systems.
  • Respond to ad hoc and strategic requests for reporting, such as external government requests, ensuring timely and accurate response.
  • Collaborate with ASIC Chief Data Office planning including Data Steward meetings and related data ethic meetings.
  • Participate in agile ‘scrum’ teams as required to deliver P&D business plan priorities.

About you

HR or Business Analyst related qualifications or significant equivalent experience

  • Proven track record in operationalising standard reports and producing and analysing workforce data sets, extrapolating key quantitative observations and making recommendations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in myPeopleSoft HR (or a similar HRIS), business intelligence systems such as QlikSense, Qualtrics and advanced Microsoft Excel. Experience in Power BI and developing visual dashboards highly regarded.
  • Experience as a senior specialist or leading others on a day-to-day basis to achieve quality outcomes and a collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrated high quality written and oral communication skills, paired with excellent relationship management skills.
  • Experience in workforce planning and or predictive modelling would be highly regarded.
  • Patience, resilience, and the capacity to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Commitment to service orientation, continuous improvement, safety/quality standards and cost efficiencies.
