Description:
We currently have a vacancy for a Workforce Systems & Data Officer to work within our Workforce Information Team. The team is going through an exciting period of change having recently joined a shared service with the Workforce Information Team at Airedale.
The role will be based at Bradford Royal Infirmary and support the Workforce Information Analyst in the provision of workforce information and the development of workforce information systems. This will involve the manipulation and analysis of data with appropriate tools to produce reports and graphical representations, which provide important workforce indicators in an informative way. These are necessary for the purpose of annual workforce planning process; monthly KPIs for dashboards; and regular reports.
We are looking for someone who is keen to learn and already possesses excellent computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. This will include Outlook, PowerPoint and Word, but you will need to have strong Excel skills. You should also have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You should have keen attention to detail; good organisational skills; and be able to complete tasks to strict deadlines. The successful applicant will have good interpersonal ability; enjoy helping people; be a team worker; and have an approachable attitude.
To support with the management of Agenda for Change Pay Progression to ensure reports are sent to line managers and assistance provided to managers on inputting into ESR. To keep track of Pay Progression that has been input to ESR by Line Managers and chase where necessary.
Be the first point of contact for General Managers and Line Managers to produce reports from ESR. To be able to take standard reports, export to Excel and customise where appropriate to make sure the report shows the data required in accordance of the Data Protection Act.
Provide routine reports from ESR in particular Monthly and Quarterly Sickness reports, using Excel to process data for presentation in a controlled, systematic and timely fashion.
Provide routine reports to Line Managers detailing their staff due to pass through one of the Pay Progression points. Check to ensure the Line Manager has input the necessary information into ESR and chase as necessary. Escalating where there is still non compliance.
Deal with enquiries from members of staff and Managers regarding Workforce and sickness data as appropriate.
You need to be able to plan your workload and prioritise especially around payday when there are more queries and key times of the month when reports are due.
Work flexibly to provide cover if needed when other members of the Workforce Information Team are on leave.
Liaise with payroll, managers and Human Resources to resolve data queries and to rectify errors as appropriate
