Tasks

  • As our Working Student- Data Engineer (f/m/d), you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure critical for supporting our data-driven initiatives. You will be responsible for collecting, processing, and organizing data to enable informed decision-making processes that drive our business forward. Additionally, you will focus on automating data workflows and optimizing data processes to ensure scalability and efficiency. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data engineering while contributing to the success of our venture. Your responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and architect data solutions.

  • Designing and implementing scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and storage.
  • Developing and maintaining ETL processes to transform and load data from various sources into data warehouses and data lakes.
  • Implementing data quality checks and ensuring data integrity and reliability.
  • Monitoring and optimizing database performance for large-scale data processing and analytics.

Requirements

  • You are studying a field related to data engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • You have a strong foundation in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • You possess a solid understanding of SQL and experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • You are highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Prior experience or coursework in data engineering, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS) is a plus.
  • You are highly ambitious and equipped with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • You enjoy working independently and having lots of responsibility.
  • You are fluent in English.
