Role description
The Group Legal & Compliance department is looking for a working student to support driving the Privacy Governance through Ardagh jurisdictions. You will be working directly with and under the supervision of our Group Data Privacy Counsel. REQUIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently pursuing a law degree or master in law and/or business
Eagerness to learn and adapt to the evolving field of data privacy
Excellent research and analytical skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Responsibilities:
- Support the Group Data Privacy Counsel in implementing the Privacy Governace through all jurisdictions where Ardagh is located
- Aid in the preparation and review of data processing agreements, guidance, policies and procedures and other legal documents related to privacy
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of privacy documentation and data processing activities and responding to data subject requests
- Assist in the implementation of privacy training programs for employees
- Engage in ongoing privacy education on emerging data privacy trends, laws, and industry best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of privacy considerations in business processes and projects
- Contribute to the overall Group Legal & Compliance department objectives as needed
