Would you like to take on a role where your ideas and input contribute to reveal to a more sustainable future? For our Hamburg office, located directly in the Hafencity, we are looking for an Working Student (m/f/d) in our ESG Procurement team. As part of the ESG Procurement team, you will participate in ESG-related projects, that include Supplier engagement. You will be involved in project-related tasks with a special focus on data collection, management, and maintenance, as well as Direct Suppliers partnership requests, which are all part of the GREEN transformation.

Preferably you are in the process of completing a bachelor or have just embarked on your master’s degree within sustainability, engineering, supply chain management or related studies, and we value that you:

• Have solid analytical skills, with a structured approach to problem-solving.

  • Being open and communicative.
  • Have basic general IT skills and advanced excel skills, power point skills.
  • To succeed in this role, you must be a quick learner and have very good English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

As a working student (m/f/d) you will work up to 20 hours per week with a schedule that largely considers the requirements of your studies. You are welcome to work for several semesters. Responsibilities:

You will get the opportunity to take part in a variety of tasks, and your main responsibilities will include:

• Participating in ESG-related projects and supporting Supplier Responsible in ESG initiatives

  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to understand project’ needs and challenges, providing support within ESG area
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, and documentation for ESG procurement processes, and training materials
  • Monitoring and analyzing procurement ESG-related metrics to identify areas for improvement and track the effectiveness of implemented changes
  • Verify and implement data in our internal IT systems
  • Support and maintain internal reporting of collected ESG data
