Description:

(fixed-term contract, starting as soon as possible)
Realize your dream of doing exceptional things and be part of something bigger right from the beginning! We at ERC stand for the development of an electrical vertical takeoff and landing vehicle (eVTOL) that lasts beyond us! We work hard to achieve this goal – with passion, a pioneering spirit, and strong partners. As we are trustworthy, open and focused, we do not make empty promises. But we still need your commitment to be among the best on the long run!

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented working student to join our Aerodynamics and Thermodynamics team. The focus of this role will be on developing and enhancing low fidelity aeroelasticity tools and structural modeling techniques for our eVTOL aircraft. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge field and work alongside experienced engineers and researchers.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and validation of low fidelity aeroelastic modeling tools for eVTOL aircraft
  • Perform structural modeling and analysis to assess the dynamic behavior of aircraft components under various flight conditions
  • Support the integration of aeroelastic models with other simulation tools
  • Conduct research on current methodologies and technologies in aeroelasticity and apply findings to improve existing models
  • Document results and prepare technical reports and presentations for internal review
