JOB TITLE: FOREMAN - DRILLING, PILING, AND GROUND ANCHORING

Position Overview: As a Foreman specialising in drilling, piling, and ground anchoring, you’ll oversee construction projects in Auckland, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and safety. Your responsibilities will include coordinating site activities, supervising crews, maintaining schedules, and adhering to budgetary constraints. If you’re a skilled leader with a proven track record in drilling and piling operations, my client wants you on their team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction, specialising in drilling, piling, and ground anchoring.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of drilling and piling techniques, equipment, and materials.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the construction industry.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Responsibilities:
- Lead drilling, piling, and ground anchoring operations on construction sites in Auckland.
- Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to achieve project goals efficiently.
- Supervise and mentor crew members to ensure work is completed safely and accurately.
- Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Monitor project progress, identify challenges, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Maintain documentation and records related to project activities and expenses.
