Description:
QUALIFICATION
Diploma/Degree in Engineering, preferably in an environmental, health sciences, industrial hygiene and chemical regulatory discipline
EXPERIENCES
- Registered Workplace, Safety and Health Officer – 2 to 5 years
- Knowledge of chemical substance regulations and EHS laws
- Working experience in Cleanroom environment is an advantage
- Certified Fire Safety Manager (preferred)
- Internal Auditing experience in ISO 14001/45001
- Experience as Noise Monitoring Officer
- Knowledge in Business Continuity Planning
Working location : Gul Circle , Singapore
Working hours: 8 am to 5.15pm

Responsibilities:
Provide Safety and Environment Sustainability Governance– develop, implement, and maintain company, local environment, health and sustainability program whichever is stricter to ensure regulatory compliance.
Facilitate and follow-up on actions from various functions and departments in EHS improvement activities, rectifications works and accident/incident investigations, contractor Permit-To-Work systems
Lead the site EHS Programs such as act as a resource to employees regarding safety concerns, manage EHS Committee, regular site inspections of the company operations to ensure compliance and EHS improvements
Identify and implement periodic EHS performance monitoring and measurements of the company’s EHS performance through proactive and reactive monitoring e.g. noise mapping, trade effluent, industrial hygiene and air emission monitoring.
Providing training and awareness on environmental health and safety topics.
Promote EHS values and principles through communication, consultation, and engagement with internal and external stakeholders through meetings, dialogue, training, and support to ensure “Safety Starts With Me” and Environment Sustainable Culture is developed within the organization.
Lead and implement EHS improvement activities arising from Corporate EHS and site leadership directions. Develop system and capability to understand company and local regulatory requirement, set EHS policies, develop, implement programs and procedures with consideration of risk assessment for an effective EHS Management System.
Maintain EHS documentations required under the EHS management system e.g. accident/incident records, chemical inventories, licenses and permits, MSDS, etc
Ensure that systems and procedures within the department are in compliance with ISO9001, ISO13485, QSR 21CFR, ISO14001, ISO 4500 and WHO Good Distribution Practice.
Conduct Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Exercises, and review and improve the BCP to ensure that it remains relevant and effective
