Description:

Robert Half has an open role for a well-organized and motivated Front Desk Coordinator who is looking to grow their career. The Front Desk Coordinator will oversee the lobby area and ensure a positive experience for all visitors and serve as a creator of positive first impressions. We are looking for an ambitious self-starter who is eager to thrive in a dynamic environment and deeply passionate about providing high quality administrative support. REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent: Candidates should have a minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Prior Customer Service Experience: Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing role is highly preferred. This includes experience in retail, hospitality, or office administration where customer interactions were a significant part of the job.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with employees, guests, and external vendors.
Attention to Detail: The ability to maintain accuracy while issuing temporary badges, managing access cards, and communicating information is crucial to ensure smooth operations and security compliance.
Adaptability and Flexibility: Candidates should thrive in a dynamic work environment where priorities can shift quickly. Flexibility with scheduling and the ability to handle unexpected changes are key.
Professionalism and Poise: The role requires maintaining a professional demeanor at all times, even in high-pressure situations, to uphold the organization’s image and provide a positive experience for visitors and employees.
Basic Technical Skills: Proficiency in using common office software such as Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps is necessary. Additionally, familiarity with operating basic office equipment like printers and scanners is advantageous.
Team Player Mentality: Collaboration and teamwork are essential to support the broader workplace services team and contribute to a cohesive work environment.
Problem-Solving Abilities: The capacity to identify and address issues efficiently, whether it’s resolving guest inquiries or troubleshooting minor office maintenance problems, is valuable in this role.

Responsibilities:

Welcome desk coverage, greeting employees and guests promptly and professionally.
Issuing temporary badges and ensuring compliance with security protocols.
Managing inquiries and requests via email and instant messaging, providing timely responses.
Receiving and notifying the mail team of incoming packages from FedEx, UPS, and couriers.
Communicating maintenance issues to building management promptly.
Assisting with additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor to support the team and business operations.
