Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding new hardware, maximising on feature updates and MOE integration, implementing new hardware and software updates, and remotely solving problems.
  • Migration strategy to move to Windows 11 inclusive of MOE creation and deployment.
  • Expertise in SCCM, Windows, PowerShell scripting, Microsoft Intune, and software package creation for deployment from Intune or SCCM.
  • Creation and updating of group policies adhering to Microsoft security baselines and best practise.
  • Prepare, install, and support Windows and Mac OS systems, troubleshoot complex incidents, and create and update documentation for the IT Service Desk/Desktop teams.
  • Responsible for the SCCM environment and future roadmap. Inclusive of system upgrades where required.
  • Manage the installation and maintenance of hardware and software.
  • Create, plan and supervise the deployment of new operating system releases, vendor patches, and firmware/driver upgrades.
  • Develop and document standardised user processes and procedures. Inclusive of knowledge base and policy creation.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders and adhere to enterprise change management.
  • Analyse MOE (SOE) and recommend enhancements and optimisation.
  • Educate and develop IT skills of Workplace Tech teams that includes the Service Desk and Desktop teams. Upskill and develop capabilities withing the teams.
  • Experience with an ITSM product and working from an incident and service request queue.

Ideal Qualifications and experience:

  • Tertiary qualified in IT or in a business-related discipline
  • Microsoft Certified Professional
  • ITIL V4 (Incident Man or Service Desk)
  • Administering System Center Configuration Manager
  • Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator
  • Strong past experience in same/similar role
  • Expertise with SCCM and Intune, with the ability to train and upskill others.
