As a Works Manager (RW), you will be responsible for organizing and coordinating the execution of dredging activities. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The planning, budgeting and application of the right dredging methods.
  • Ensuring compliance with the legal and contractual requirements associated with the execution of the works.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards.
  • Participate in meetings with customers, authorities and other contractors on site.
  • Reporting technical problems of the vessels or equipment to the right colleagues.
  • Daily reporting to and consultation with Project Manager, the project team and the office in Aalst about the daily production report and progress of the works.
  • Identifying opportunities for subcontractors in consultation with the project manager.
  • Solving problems on the project or problems with third parties.
