Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Asset Manager, as the Works Planner you will facilitate the production of works packages for the assigned asset portfolio to achieve our clients’ asset performance objectives. You will assist with the general management of the assigned asset portfolio and assist with customer or Northpower internal enquiries. You will be working closely with our clients Vector, Asplundh, Treescape and internally with Delivery Managers, Supervisors, Schedulers and Field leaders.
Based in Auckland you will be responsible for:
- Assisting Overhead (OH) Asset Manager with delivery and packaging of Preventative Maintenance (PM) plan
- Following up on ongoing works and assisting the DAR planning team to allow support for scalability of works
- Creating POs, reconciling and receipting subcontractors, organising travel and accommodation bookings
- Being mindful, present, safe for yourself, workmates, customers, the public, networks, and the environment. Continuously assess situations for the safety of yourself and your team members
You will be comfortable liaising with multiple people and departments, confident with an eye on the bigger picture, while being dedicated and attend to the details with accuracy. To be successful in this role, you will also demonstrate the following:
- Have Electrical registration or relevant industry experience (Preferred)
- Strong ability to manage and prioritise tasks
- Prior experience in a similar role in Overheads and use of JDE will be advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite (especially in Excel and Word) and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Exceptional stakeholder interaction and management
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Enjoy working as a part of a team, yet able to work self-directed
- Solutions focussed and the tenacity in taking problems through to successful outcome
