SUMMARY:

As a Workshop & Aftersales Manager, you will oversee all workshop activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental laws. Your responsibilities include managing staff, diagnosing vehicle issues, overseeing repairs, handling customer service, and maintaining financial records.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in automotive industry or NITEC in Automotive Technology with 10 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
  • Familiarity with vehicle diagnostic systems and repair methods.
  • Proficiency in workshop tools and MS Office.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure workshop compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Manage staff scheduling, assignments, and performance evaluations.
  • Supervise vehicle inspections and diagnostics, providing guidance to technicians.
  • Oversee waste disposal procedures in accordance with health and safety laws.
  • Conduct test drives to monitor service quality.
  • Coordinate customer service, including scheduling appointments and addressing complaints.
  • Negotiate prices with clients and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Procure vehicle parts and equipment, monitor inventory, and manage finances.
  • Stay updated on automotive industry developments through workshops and publications.
