Description:

Foreman Automotive Workshop - Roodepoort
Fast Growing Brand on the West Rand is looking for a Workshop Foreman.
This position can grow into Workshop Manager.

Duties will include:

  • Supervise and oversee all workshop activities, including repairs, maintenance, and servicing of vehicles.
  • Allocate tasks and resources to technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of work orders.
  • Monitor and inspect workmanship to ensure quality standards are met and exceeded.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to technicians, assisting with complex repairs and diagnostics as needed.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to technicians to support their professional development and growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe and productive working environment.
  • Coordinate with service advisors and parts department to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of services.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Workshop Foreman or similar role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repairs.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computerized diagnostic tools and software.
  • Valid driver’s license.
