Description:

Youngman Richardson are importers and distributors of a broad range of plant and equipment that is sold into the construction, hire and agricultural sectors. We are a privately owned business with branches in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Due to growth we are now establishing a new branch in Te Rapa, Waikato
This is an excellent opportunity to join a start up branch, reporting to and working closely in conjunction with the Branch Manager. This is very much a hands on role that assists in managing the overall smooth running of the Service Division, developing and maintaining good, efficient work systems that helps the flow of information to the administration and accounting departments and ensuring “Workshop Standards” policy is achieved.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Ensuring productive utilisation of labour & material resources & delivery times.
  • Communication with external/internal customers and our technicians.
  • Providing exceptional customer service delivery – this is a mainstay of our business.
  • Providing clear communication & instruction to your team, allocating and supervision of jobs
  • Attending daily meetings in the administration and workshop areas.
  • Handling all related administration duties.
  • Providing a high level of commitment to eliminating OHS hazards in the workplace.

To be successful and fulfilled in this role you will need to be a strong communicator with a mechanical background - & knowledge of plant & equipment. You must be trade qualified in either petrol / diesel or both. Proven administration and time management skills are essential.
You’ll be juggling time, priorities, people, skills, vehicles, and customer expectations. So the ability to pivot and react swiftly is essential.
