Responsibilities:
Assist in leading the Repairs crew of up to 20 workers, providing guidance and proactive leadership skills.
Support Team leaders and/or Supervisor.
Complete planned, unplanned, and corrective maintenance tasks
Ensure Metso’s standards of quality and safety are adhered to by assertively championing Metso’s safety culture to team and subcontractors Ensure that all incidents, accidents and hazards are reported and are followed up correctly to minimize and manage risk.
Inspect equipment and raise job requests on any defective parts/components found.
Represent Metso in a professional manner.
Ensures that lifting and handling activities are regularly supervised within the workshop.
