We are working with a client in the Leicestershire area and is a leading manufacturer. A position has become available in the Mechanical Development department. The position is to complete the day-to-day activities within the Workshop, assisting with product development, production of their products and repair works. Repair and testing of various valves, hydro mechanical and electrical panels.

Job Description:

• Team worker -technician
• Day to day workshop activities
• General mechanical assembly work
• Testing, Repairs, Inspection and Production
• Assisting with product development R&D
• Procurement where necessary
• Liaising with customers and suppliers

Person Specification:

Essentials

• Mechanical engineering knowledge
• Electrical Engineering Knowledge
• Panel wiring
• Ability to carry out heavy duty work
• Good attention to detail
• Good telephone manner
• Computer literate
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Tool room machining experience

Desirables

• Knowledge of AutoCAD
• Driving licence
