Description:
EcoXplore, a leading provider of energy monitoring solutions based in Singapore, seeks a proactive and safety-focused Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator (WSH) to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees while promoting a strong safety culture across the organization.
REQUIREMENTS
- Polytechnics Diploma In Engineering or related discipline.
- Singapore WSH Specialist Certificate (WSQ) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a WSH Coordinator or a similar role in a construction, engineering, or related industry.
- Strong understanding of Singapore’s WSH Act, regulations, and relevant codes of practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach to safety.
- Good computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) program aligned with Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate workplace incidents and near misses, implement corrective actions, and report findings to relevant authorities (if required).
- Develop and deliver WSH training programs for employees, ensuring they understand safe work practices for their roles and responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate WSH records and documentation, including incident reports, training records, and safety inspections.
- Stay informed about updates to WSH regulations and best practices in the industry.
- Promote a positive safety culture by encouraging safe work practices and employee participation in safety initiatives.
- Liaise with external WSH professionals and authorities as needed.
- Assist with the selection and implementation of safe work procedures for installation and maintenance of energy monitoring solutions (if applicable).
- Monitor the safe use of tools and equipment used by employees.
- Conduct risk assessments for new projects and activities.
