We are seeking a highly skilled WTG Package Manager to take charge of the WTG package for a significant offshore wind farm project currently in its developmental phase. The role is based in Hamburg, Germany.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
As the WTG Package Manager, you will be responsible for negotiating the turbine supply agreement and overseeing the entire contract execution process from handover to the wind farm’s start of operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Managing the project timeline, and budget, and coordinating interdisciplinary efforts within the WTG project group.
- Providing essential WTG input to other project packages during the design phase and establishing working interfaces with them.
- Conducting technical bid reviews and tender evaluations.
- Playing a pivotal role in negotiating the turbine supply agreement (TSA) and serving as the overall coordinator during the contract negotiation phase.
- Overseeing installation, supervision, commissioning, and documentation, including detailed engineering and quality assurance.
- Contributing to the identification and management of technical risks, issues, and project impacts.
- Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety guidelines.
- Assisting the Contract Manager in preparing variation orders and claims.
