Ewing Outdoor Supply - New Braunfels is in search of a teammate with a quality customer service skill set to help our contractors and customers process their orders, show them to the weigh scale and provide guidance through the landscape materials yard. This role isn’t for just anybody, as the ability to lift 50-70 lbs. is required, and the opportunity to demonstrate that is daily. This is a role that also requires you to handle a high heat environment. Within the green industry, typically we are the busiest when it’s the hottest, as our contractors crank out projects in favorable conditions.

We are looking for a Customer Service Associate in our Landscape Material Yard to provide excellent customer service for our business and distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our locations satisfied and you will contribute to the branch’s profitability.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Basic math skills
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities:

  • Go the extra mile to engage customers
