Yard Supervisor

at  Interwell Norway

We are currently seeking a yard supervisor for our new and modern facilities. You will have a key role in material movements within our facility, and your focus will be on optimizing yard operations with a “safety-first approach.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant work experience in the field of logistics/warehouse or trade certificate
• Driver’s license B and forklift T4, T5, T8 and overhead crane G4
• Good English knowledge - written and oral

• Supervise and coordinate yard personnel.
• Loading and unloading of materials or products.
• Coordinate and optimize incoming and outgoing traffic at the location in a safe manner.
• Maintain close collaboration with other departments to ensure an effective workflow.
• Assist the receiving warehouse to ensure deliveries match purchase orders.
• Transfer of equipment and goods between internal departments and locations.
• Operate various forklifts to handle material and inventory.
• Preventive maintenance for forklifts and company cars and keep records of this.
• Responsibility for inventory control at yard location, including baskets and other load carriers.
• Perform periodic inventory counting of the yard and other locations.
• Waste management.
